On the After-event Politics of the Connecticut Elementrary School Massacre of December 14, 2012

 

A Few words:  

  On Friday, December 14, 2012, a gunman killed 20 children and 6 adults at an Elementary School in Connecticut.

Obama used the opportunity to visit the grieving parents and smilingly pose for photos .   Really?  What message is this political opportunism actually sending?  Is it:  Have your child die and I'll come up and smile over your dead kid!  Yeah.  Sacrifice your precious white child, and you get to pose in a photo op with me, baby!  Ain't I great?

Is that the message?  Because as you will notice in the pictures, 
to Obama it was as if no tragedy happened!  This arch-narcissist Obama went to Connecticut to as if to yet again CAMPAIGN and use these people as props for his own apathetic political manipulations and be yet another photo-op in his ever-growing concatenated examples and ostentatious displays that reaffirms that he is more about being worshiped and furthering himself as the center of his self-centered personality cult, and to use that irrationality to drive and successfully push his uncompromising Communist-Socialist  agenda making. 

 

In Connecticut, white children died in a massacre and Obama is elated.  What is the difference between a child suicide bomber in the West Bank  and parents like these?  The West Bank suicide Bomber's parents get $50,000, and these behaving like idiot parents only get a photo with Barack Obama, someone who isn't even a United States Natural Born Citizen (hence, illegally holding office), who would just as happily come back and smile with these same parents if they sacrifice these two other precious children in the same photo.  That's Barack Obama...the real Barack Obama that they don't know yet.  
Meanwhile, the Obama Administration will use moments like these in the grandest use of opportunism they can get out of it, in order to use it as Public Relations for a future push of gun confiscation. 

And what was the deal with Obama going gay expecting an on the mouth (French) kiss with one of the victim's fathers.  In the photo below, you can see Barack Obama in this clearly and openly homosexual fantasy mode, unmistakeably all set to kiss the guy. 

 

No wonder Newsweek in May 2012 featured Obama on the cover as America's first homosexual / gay President.

In order to advance the cause of Progressive Totalitarianism and Communist Socialism in the United States in leaps instead of baby steps, one must wait for a crisis.  And when that crisis occurs, advised Rahm Emmanuel (once a close adviser and White House Chief of Staff  to Barack Obama), "never let a crisis go to waste" so as to advance the same irrational progressive cause rational people would never consider when there isn't a crisis.  With yet another Leftist shooting, the same kind of "pre-existing condition" medical subject Obama recently signed legislation that we should be fined $63 a year per taxpayer for and to slush-fund support, those having a medical "pre-existing condition" (including those with pre-existing psychiatric illnesses on psychiatric drugs as prescribed by a psychiatrist as was apparently the case with the Connecticut shooter apparently had), Obama and the Democratic Machine in Congress again want to use it as a crisis excuse to restrict more U.S. Citizen gun rights http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/17/us-connecticut-towns-idUSBRE8BD0U120121217

 What happened to personal responsibility of the mother having a combination gun safe with her psychiatric treated  and psychiatric drugged / medicated son having NO access to her guns in the first place, let alone there being a failure to enforce gun laws already in place in the State of Connecticut to begin with?  

Why should we consider Adam Lanza's Psychiatrist as exempt from Medical Malpractice or removal of license to practice when this kind of tragedy occurs?  Especially when all too many incidents were triggered by being under the influence of psychiatrist prescribed medications?

 Legislation that seeks to escape personal responsibility of proper enforcement of existing legislation does us no favors by adding new totalitarian legislation that empowers criminals and weakens society. 

We might also ask, if the gunman had to be buzzed in, why wasn't there armed security to fully see him beforehand and greet him at where he was buzzed in?  Why weren't there at least some designated concealed carry administrators and teachers at the school?

I also wrote a post regarding some of the United Nations Small Arms Treaty language that Progressives (Communists, Socialists, Liberal Democrats - though quite too often of late there is little to almost no fundamental ideological differences anymore) in wanting to use such leverage in Treaty Form as if to trump the Second Amendment.

What, exactly, does the intended agreement entail?

While the terms have yet to be made public, if passed by the U.N. and ratified by our Senate, it will almost certainly force the U.S. to:

1.       Enact tougher licensing requirements, creating additional bureaucratic red tape for legal firearms ownership.

2.       Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms (exempting those owned by our government of course).

3.       Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).

4.       Create an international gun registry, clearly setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation.

5.       In short, overriding our national sovereignty, and in the process, providing license for the federal government to assert preemptive powers over state regulatory powers guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment in addition to our Second Amendment rights.

Have no doubt that this plan is very real, with strong Obama administration support. In January 2010 the U.S. joined 152 other countries in endorsing a U.N. Arms Treaty Resolution that will establish a 2012 conference to draft a blueprint for enactment. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has pledged to push for Senate ratification.

Obama claims there need to be rationality and compromise...but it always applies to someone else --  now that he has a stolen Presidency for another 4 years in likelihood -- never to himself anymore.  He changed his tune from just 4 1/2 years ago, has he not?  Yup.

  In District of Columbia v. Heller, the US Supreme Court, took to itself the task of offering a careful and detailed support as to interpreting a US Constitutional provision based on original intent and original public meaning. Justice Scalia delivered the opinion of the Court in DC v. Heller, heavily documenting justifications toward an “Originalist” view.

In June 2008, the then Illegal Candidate for President, Barack Obama, was quoted even by multiple lap-dog media sources stating that he was then supporting the DC v. Heller decision:

In other words, a clear and distinctive legal analysis of the Second Amendment in DC v. Heller is “much needed guidance” when discussing and proposing legislation that affects the Second Amendment rights of United States Citizens.  DC v. Heller should be at the top of a discussion of adaption to circumstances such as what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut , and that distinction should be vigorously made and proclaimed without reservation by the Second Amendment Lobby.  We can expect that the Democrats in Congress and around the nation, the various Obama groupies and especially the  bobblehead Obama at the waist Media to start going ballistic in the next few weeks and start giving us more of the the Harry Belafonte dementia that America has given Barack the mandate "to work like a third world dictator, and put all his opponents in jail", not just on wealth redistribution, but on everything else as well,  or words to this effect.

Guns and Teachers

As Front Sight's Founder and Director, I understand my offer to train armed school teachers may offend some school administrators and parents who do not see arming and training selected school staff members as a positive solution to violent attacks. However, historically, my approach has worked while gun control has actually increased violent crime by shifting the balance of power to favor the criminals and lunatics.

My offer is not a new idea. In the early 70's, Israel was faced with much greater problems of armed terrorist attacks on schools. The cry for more gun control was heard then too, but Israel very carefully analyzed all possible options before adopting the proactive position of arming and training their teachers. School shootings stopped and terrorists looked for easier targets. Gun control never has and never will stop criminals and madmen from carrying out acts of gun violence. 

Here is the reason why there are no school shooting in Israel. Wake up America!

In our country, every time a misguided individual on psychiatric drugs goes on a killing spree, anti self-defense legislators, watch the polls and exploit the dead victims in order to fool the public into accepting more gun control. It is time our country finds some resolve and the will to tackle the real problem, which is rooting out the actual influences in the lives people hat predispose them to commit atrocities. The problem is not guns. Guns don't cause these incidents to occur any more than cameras cause child pornography or automobiles cause traffic fatalities.

Israel had the right answer. Society is safer when we train and arm our law abiding citizens. As the defensive training leader in the USA, Front Sight is willing and able to set the example for the rest of the country to follow. 

Armed Teachers

Dave Clark, who recently retired after teaching for the last 25 years at Junction Junior High School in Livermore, California agrees with Front Sight's philosophy. In fact, Mr. Clark has previously attended a Four Day Defensive Handgun course at Front Sight at his own expense and found the course to be exactly what is needed to train fellow teachers to stop an attack similar to Columbine school and Virginia Tech. Guns in Schools

There is evidence that a gun in the hand of a teacher will stop an armed attacker. The vice-principal of a school in Pearl, Mississippi used his handgun to stop and detain an armed killer until the police arrived. It seems obvious that armed and trained staff members inside the school are in a better position to identify the attackers and do something immediately to resolve the situation. It is much harder for police, who arrive on the scene too late to stop the killing. 

Lawmakers With Blood on Their Hands

An obstacle to training and arming teachers is the current law in many states prohibiting the possession of firearms on school grounds even when the possessor is qualified and has a concealed weapons license.

Understand that those laws did not prevent or stop the gun violence at numerous schools over the last ten years. The brazen attacks in school after school during the last decade indicate criminals have concluded that 'Gun-Free-School-Zone' actually means 'Government Certified, Helpless and Unarmed Victim Zone.' 

Schools Can't Afford to Pass on No Cost Security

Most school districts cannot afford to have even one full time police officer in every school, but they can easily afford to train three or more of their selected staff members to a higher level of firearms training than offered in police academies because Front Sight will provide the training at no cost.

Retired law enforcement firearms instructor, Mike Waidelich from Bakersfield, California strongly supports the Front Sight concept of arming and training teachers. "Nearly every tragedy on or off school grounds in the entire 30 years of my law enforcement career could have been prevented or the damage done considerably limited, by the presence of an armed and trained individual."

Concealed Guns

Mr. Lott's research of cross-sectional time-series data from all 3054 U.S. counties from 1977 to 1992 found that allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons deters violent crime and appears to produce no increase in accidental deaths. If those states which did not have right-to-carry concealed handgun provisions had adopted them in 1992, approximately 1,570 murders, 4,177 rapes, and over 60,000 aggravated assaults would have been avoided yearly.

Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut is a "Gun Free Zone" in a state with severe gun restrictions placed on its citizens. Clackamas, Oregon's Town Center Mall does not restrict patrons from carrying a gun and Oregon is a Shall Issue Concealed Carry Permit State.

The difference in outcomes between to two murderous rampages is striking and simply cannot be disputed by anyone who looks at the two incidents with a rational mind.

Psych Drugs, Not Guns, Doing the Killing 

Las Vegas, Nevada: 12 years ago, I asked a very pointed question in a press release sent to the National Wire Service immediately following the killings at Columbine High School. 

 A few days after the Virginia Tech Massacre, I again asked the same very direct question.

 And today, after the Newton Connecticut massacre, I am once again asking the very same pointed question... 

I am asking, "How many times must we experience another Littleton, Colorado or Virginia Tech or Newtown Connecticut before we wake up, study the research and adopt policies which actually reduce crime and begin saving our children instead of leaving them helpless victims when the next psych drug user snaps?" 

After Columbine, while most journalists and lawmakers focused on whether or not my answer to protecting children by arming teachers was the right solution, it seems everyone missed my understanding of the root cause that drove these kids to commit such atrocities! 

The root cause was and continues to be the psych drugs that are being pushed on our children!

In some cases children as young as kindergarten age! 

After Columbine, nobody wanted to believe the founder and director of the nation's largest firearms training institute when he pointed his finger at psych drugs as the cause of the problem. During numerous radio, TV and newspaper interviews I would bring it up and it would fall on deaf ears with no reaction at all. 

So I spent $300,000 to create a Hollywood produced, award winning DVD entitled Front Sight Story, Chapter One: Your Legacy.
