It is likely that the entries to this blog will be less frequent than in years past. I do intend to keep this blog active, and to offer insightful information and/or opinion (and sometimes humor and/or entertainment on occasion) when I do post.

10 Days Later And Still No White House Posting Of Obama's 23 Gun Control Executive Orders?

Obama on January 16, 2013 announced he was signing 23 Executive Orders.  Well, in advance of any posting on the White House internet site, the news media of all types repeated what the Obama Administration claimed was in those Executive orders.  For the entire day of January 16, 2013, NOT ONE of the 23 Executive Orders of Obama was posted for review and examination.  Not even one.  In fact, here it is January 26, 2012,  some 10 days later, and not a single damn one of his "executive orders" for January 2013, is yet posted at the White House website.  Not a single one.

All we have is the White House propaganda talking points as robotically and hypnotically repeated and believed by the Media regardless of where we look.
For example, the 23 talking points will be posted virtually word for word equally at sites such as:

The Executive “Actions” that Obama signed, but what his staff drags its heels to post  to examine the veracity of their claims, states that the executive orders will state the ff.  (in the blue text below, to which I have added just a couple comments):

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

-- To me, that sounds as if that is meant to create NEW Legislation by Regulation.
For example: Make it a crime to have a loaded gun.
For example: Make it a crime to have bullets in the same part of the house as the gun.
For example: Make it a crime to shoot an armed intruder unless you have been first shot or stabbed first.  Being beaten and raped won't count, nor the fear of the same.
For example:  Make it a crime to have either the bullets or the gun locked up in anything less than the kind of safe the Government tells you that you must buy (such as a spinning combination lock that takes 10-15 seconds to open), and to have a gun lock on the gun even when you get to it that must be opened by a key stored separately from the gun safe (probably in another locked location in a third part of your residence, perhaps?), to be covered under point number 8, which is claimed to be executive order #8...but we don't know yet, as the transparent Obama refuses transparency in releasing the text of his 23 executive orders as yet..

8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make itwidely available to law enforcement.

11. Nominate an ATF director.

12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effectiveuse of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to developinnovative technologies.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

--   Question, could the mere seeing of a psychiatrist or seeing a Counselor of any kind in the past 10 years, such as a marriage counselor, be viewed as grounds for gun rights revocation by the Executive Order once “regulations” are written to follow the action?  Although such guidelines may not affect the general public, technically they might be imposed upon anyone employed under the Executive Branch umbrella as a means to disarm who they deem as a Conservative employed under that umbrella.  But we do not know what the language is in the Executive Order yet, as Obama thus far refuses to post his Executive Orders 10 days out.  How hard is it to release the same, especially when the final draft was already printed up to be signed by the illegally placed and putative President?  From at least the day before he signs them, they are in the West Wing Computers ready for upload to the Internet.  So much for transparency.

 23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

It does not appear that at this time, absent an actual publication and reading of the 23 “Executive Actions” that any of the executive orders would have any impact on the guns people currently own-or would like to purchase- and that all proposals regarding limiting the availability of assault weapons or large ammunition clips will be proposed for Congressional action. As such, any potential effort to create a constitutional crisis—or the leveling of charges that the White House has overstepped its executive authority—would hold no validity.

But that doesn't mean we should NOT be worried nor justifiably suspicious when leftists who espouse and promote Communism or praise Communism seek to create "Gun Control" and relabel it as "controlling gun violence" to their best interests.

Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. As one official put it, “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.

Obama Seeks a Course of Pragmatism in the Middle East,” The New York Times, March 11, 2011.

 Gun Control

Some may think the above picture is an exaggeration, it isn’t.  When the Mainstream Liberal Media has executives who are unopposed in espousing mass murder of U.S. Citizens, the very idea that it is virtually accepted by mere tacit consent, tells us loud and clear that we should NOT give up the rights guaranteed / secured by our Constitution in the Second Amendment.

Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (1966) @ 491 "Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rulemaking or legislation which would abrogate them.

CBS News Political Director John Dickerson wants Obama to misuse the powers of his office, ALL the powers of his office, which includes using the military or black ops officers or whoever to go out and kill people,  including the power to kill citizens of the United States simply because they are Republicans, and thereby wipe out an entire major  Political Party.  You heard it right.  Dickerson by entering into a rabid and frothing diatribe loses clarification by ambiguity and effectually advocates mass murder, not just targeted assassinations, but the murder of millions.  Unfortunately, such failure to distinguish in his words is because that is how he really feels toward us.  The venomous and murderous hatred some Democrats held against former President Bush has now become a vile new form of vicious animosity, as equally dangerous as any form of past political or religious or social racism we could care to compare it with, and he like his fellow Leftist ideologues are apparently serious by the mere fact of such a public outburst of what seems to be a mental illness on their part.

Even Speaker of the House, the sorry disappointment and excuse of a leader John Boehner, whom Quaker Cereal ought to sue for defamation of likeness on their product,  states publicly that Obama already is of a mind to "destroy the Republican Party" as a political entity over the next 22 months. Said Boehner,

“So we’re expecting over the next 22 months to be the focus of this administration as they attempt to annihilate the Republican Party.
“And let me just tell you, I do believe that is their goal — to just shove us into the dustbin of history.”

The danger we face from the Leftists in this nation is far, far more serious than most people know or will accept.  But the best way to tamp it down is by reason and the legal mechanisms that are at our disposal insisted upon by enough millions of us to make that Corrective Course of Action, it seems to me.  That is because it will be the most lasting and enduring, without tearing down the foundations and good fabric left of our Republic, as there is a whole lot still available for us to work with.  Even the Court would agree that we should pursue such an option.  Here in America, we are faced with a reality in which the Second Amendment allows an equalization and freedom from terror, as well as freedom from tyranny.  Anyone who has lived with violent crime, or has gone through being on the receiving end of lawless rioting or mob actions, the Police either being over-whelmed or non-responsive or just plain absent, knows that it is the Second Amendment right to own a gun that is the difference between a decent into living in terror and  living in quiet legal and peaceful confidence as Americans.

In retrospect, it seems to me that to some degree, we are faced here with pretty much our difficulty in the Birther Case Presentation...and by that, I mean in regard to the  Courts -- especially the U.S. Supreme Court -- of not wanting to get involved on that issue, because to them, the Constitution still grants that the Senate has the option of trying Obama by means of Impeachment to remove him.  In Constitutional adjudication, the Supreme Court  has stated that it  “will not pass upon a constitutional question although properly presented by the record, if there is also present some other ground upon which the case may be disposed of.” Ashwander v. Tenn. Valley Auth., 297 U.S. 288 (1936) @ 347 (Brandeis, J., concurring); cf.  Spector Motor Serv., Inc. v. McLaughlin, 323 U.S. 101 (1944) @ 105; United States v. Waksberg, 112 F.3d 1225 (D.C. Cir. 1997) @1227.

So I guess, from a perspective on how the Supreme Court might guide or advise on the issue, it seems that they would say that as long as there is a remedy through Congress on a legislation issue, until both Obama and Congress cross a set line at least 4 justices on the U.S. Supreme Court are inclined to believe are drawn, as invisible and subjective as that often appears to be (to them moreso than us, perhaps?), we also still have the same almost co-equal task of finding what that line is, and then pursuing that correct legal course.

For now, what can we do?  It seems to me that it is up to us to continually be exercising our First Amendment Rights and holding Congress legally and peacefully accountable, which is what the National Rifle Association and others do, (because they WILL sue in Court and file legal actions).  At least, for now, that is part of the very short term solution in dealing with the totalitarian grabs of our Second Amendment Rights by the lunatic Leftists of Congress and the Executive Branch.  It is a solution readily available but perhaps not for long if Obama gets to choose 3 or more Supreme Court replacements, especially if we see such liberal ideologue replacements are for Justices Scalia, and Thomas.

Diane Feinstein has introduced a bill banning a list of weapons.  But the vaguery of her legislation accompanying the list may not only include what is on the list, but EVERY Semi-auto of any kind in the United States of America.  That is the danger of having her legislation.  As her own web-page says:

What the bill does:
The legislation bans the sale, transfer, manufacturing and importation of:
  • All semiautomatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature: pistol grip; forward grip; folding, telescoping, or detachable stock; grenade launcher or rocket launcher; barrel shroud; or threaded barrel.
  • All semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature: threaded barrel; second pistol grip; barrel shroud; capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip; or semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.
  • All semiautomatic rifles and handguns that have a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
  • All semiautomatic shotguns that have a folding, telescoping, or detachable stock; pistol grip; fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds; ability to accept a detachable magazine; forward grip; grenade launcher or rocket launcher; or shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
  • All ammunition feeding devices (magazines, strips, and drums) capable of accepting more than 10 rounds.

Every semi-auto on the market has the capacity to accept a magazine of more than 10 rounds, whether it is standard or not.  Every one of them.  Therefore, the bill seeks to make every semi-auto an illegal weapon to own.

Feinstein's mere motivation is absolutely crossing the line of casual suspicion to open and overt intent.  Once semi-autos are banned, in her view, then so will anything else that remains, and that probably would include muskets (which they would regulate because it shoots lead balls, and is harmful to the environment, or some such rot).

Meanwhile, the Media either naively or in collusion, have some who claim publicly  that the worse case scenario being proposed is that the Feinstein legislation will only charge semi-auto gun owners $200 per gun, perhaps per year, as if "That's not so bad?  Is it?"

Senator Feinstein's ban list at present is to first claim to ban:
