Revelation 4
1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (KJV)1) After these things I saw and perceived, knowing;
and behold, look and see,
an entrance-door-to-receive having been opened
an entrance-door-to-receive having been opened
in Heaven;
and a Voice like the sound at the first,
which I heard with my ears attentively
which I heard with my ears attentively
as a Trumpet speaking with me and saying,
'Ascend and Come Up Here, in this place,
and I will make a public show or spectacle for you
of what is necessary and what inevitably must occur after these things.' (AWPR)
2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (KJV)
2) And immediately I became in Spirit; and behold, look and see,
a Throne was placed and set in Heaven,
and upon the Throne sitting down: (AWPR)
3) And He sitting down was one and the same in appearance as
a Jasper and Sardius stone;
and a full circular rainbow or iris (was) entirely round about the Throne
like in appearance to an emerald. (AWPR)
4And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. (KJV)
4) And entirely encircling the Throne, 24 thrones;
and upon these thrones I saw 24 Presbyters / Elders
sitting there round about,
having been clothed in white garments,
and they possessed victory crowns of gold upon their heads.
5And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. (KJV)
5) And out of the Throne,
out came forth lightnings and thunders and sounds speaking;
and 7 lamps of fire burning --
which are the 7 Spirits of G-D --
in the sight and presence of the Throne, being in front of and before it. (AWPR)
6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. (KJV)
6) And in the sight and presence of the Throne,
being in front of and before it,
a glassy and transparent lake / sea,
being one and the same as Crystal or perfectly clear ice;
and in the midst of the Throne and entirely encircling around the Throne,
4 living and thinking animal Creatures,
stuffed full of eyes in the front and back of, looking behind. (AWPR)
7) And the first living and thinking animal Creature,
(was) one and the same (as) a lion;
and the second living and thinking animal Creature
(was) one and the same (as) a calf, a young tender bullock;
and the third living and thinking animal Creature
having and holding possession of a face as that of a man;
and the fourth living and thinking animal Creature
(was) one and the same (as) a flying eagle. (AWPR)
8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (KJV)
8) And the 4 living and thinking animal Creatures,
he himself having each one 6 wings round about,
and from a place internally within (being) stuffed full of eyes,
they certainly did not have the rest that grants inward peace -
assurance - inner tranquility day and night,
laying down and uttering the definite words of
'Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY,
He who was and He who is and He who is the Coming One.' (AWPR)
9And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (KJV)
9) And when or if so ever the living and thinking animal Creatures
shall of their own accord and good will
give glory and honor and well-pleasing thanksgiving
to He sitting down upon the Throne,
to the (One) having living life into the ages of the ages; (AWPR)
10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (KJV)
10) the 24 Presbyters / Elders will fall down and prostrate themselves
in the sight and presence of the Throne, being in front of and before
the (One) sitting down upon the Throne;
and they will kiss and adore, with the lips giving respect homage,
and they will worship the Living (One) into the Ages of the Ages;
and they will cast off and throw the victory crowns of them
in the sight and presence of the Throne, being in front of and before it;
laying down and uttering definite words, saying, (AWPR)
. 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (KJV)
11) Weighed heavy as deserving and worthy are You LORD / YHVeH
to take, seize, lay hold on, accept and receive
the thoughtful and recognized honor, renown, and glory duly rendered;
and the respect, reverence, and esteem of the rank and dignity of honor
and the mighty strength and power
because You formed and created the resulting product of
all that is created,
and through the will of You they are
and exist as they were formed and created into the resulting product
they were created as. (AWPR)
