33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? (KJV)

'We are the sperm - We are the seed
of Abraham;
and certainly not to anyone have we been
servants subjugated in bondage or voluntarily obedient
[as if slaves],
as yet never ever!
How - In what manner or way
do you lay down definite words and say that
"Free - Unconstrained - Unshackled and independent
you will become?" '

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (KJV)
34) Jesus - Yeshua judgingly answered,
'Amen. Amen. I lay down definite words and say
unto you, that all - everyone
doing - making - performing - causing - bringing about
the sin - the guilty offense
is a slave of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. (KJV)
35) Then the slave certainly not remains - abides - dwells
in the House into the Age - into Forever.
The Son remains - abides - dwells into the Age - into Forever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (KJV)
36) If perhaps therefore - accordingly the Son
sets you free - liberates you into freedom and independence,
you are in the chronic and continous state of being free
and independent (indeed).

37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. (KJV)
37) I know and awaringly understand that you are
the sperm - the seed
[the natural born paternal descendents]
of Abraham;
but you seek and strive to find Me
to destroyingly kill, because My intelligent word
certainly not has a place - certainly not has a (roomy) space
in you.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. (KJV)
38) I speak randomly (of) what I have seen
(face to face - with My own eyes)
in the presence of - near - with the Father of Me.
And - Also you (yourselves likewise),
therefore - accordingly, what you have seen
(face to face - with My own eyes)
in the presence of - near - with the father of you.'

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. (KJV)
39) They judgingly answered and said to Him,
'The Father of us is Abraham!'
Jesus - Yeshua lays down definite words and says to them,
'If (hypothetically) you were the children
brought forth of Abraham,
the work performances - the deeds and acts
of Abraham you would
do - make - perform - cause - bring about, perhaps.

40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. (KJV)
40) Now - At this time then,
you seek and strive to find Me
to destroyingly kill a man who has spoken
the Truth - the True Reality (as it really is) to you,
which I attentively heard in the presence of GOD.
This Abraham certainly did not do.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. (KJV)
41) You do - make - perform - cause - bring about
the work performances of the father of you.'
Accordingly - Therefore, they said to Him,
'We certainly were not born - begotten
out of fornication - out of sexual sin
[out of having sex outside the husband and wife
marraige relationship].
One father we have - hold - possess and continue
to have - hold - possess: GOD.'

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. (KJV)
42) Jesus - Yeshua said to them,
'If (hypothetically) GOD was your Father,
you would unquestioningly and without precondition,
with compassion and duty,
love Me now - at this (present) time;
for I, out of GOD, proceeded from and went forth,
and have come to be here.
Because certainly not from Myself
I have come forth (so as to make a public appearance),
but that one there sent Me forth out.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. (KJV)
43) Through which or what (part of) the speech of Mine
do you certainly not know and perceivingly understand
because you are not able, nor capable, nor empowered
to listen intently and hear the intelligent word (of) Mine
(that which belongs to and proceeds from Me)?

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV)
44) You are out of / from (your) father,
the Devil / he casting or throwing (false accusations) through;
and the longings and strong desires of the mind
of the father of you
you willingly wish - desire - intend - are pleased
to do - make - perform - cause - bring about.
That one there was homicidal - was a murderer
from (the) Beginning - from (the) First Cause;

and in the Truth - and in the True Reality (as it really is)
has certainly not stood - has certainly not established nor
confirmed,
because the Truth is certainly not in him.
Whensoever he randomly speaks the falsehood - the lie,
out of his own (privately and apart from others)
he speaks,
because he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. (KJV)
45) Then, because I lay down definite words and speak
the Truth - the True Reality (as it really is),
you certainly do not believe - you certainly do not trust
Me?

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? (KJV)
46) Who out of you shames - disgraces - provingly convicts
Me (as in the wrong) round about - concerning
sin - a guilty offense?
Then, perhaps if I lay down definite words and speak
the Truth - the True Reality (as it really is),
through which or what (part)
do you certainly not believe - trust Me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. (KJV)
47) He being out of GOD hears and listens intently to
the speech - statements - discourse of GOD
[as uttered and taught by a living voice].
Through this, you certainly do not listen intently nor hear,
because you are certainly not out of - out from GOD.'

48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? (KJV)
48) Accordingly - Therefore the Judeans judgingly answered
and said to Him,
'(Is it) Certainly not well and good we
lay down definite words and say that you are
a Samaritan, and (that) you have -hold - possess and
continue to have - hold - possess a demon?'

49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. (KJV)
49) Jesus judgingly answered,
'I certainly do not have - hold - possess a demon,
but I esteem - honor - reverence - prize - show respect for
the Father of Me,
and you do not esteem - do not honor - do not reverence -
do not prize - do not show respect for Me.

50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. (KJV)
50) Then, I certainly do not seek and strive to find
[to do the same with you].
The thoughtful recognition and glory of Me
is he seeking and striving to find,
and (rightly) discerning - (rightly) judging and
discriminating (good over evil).

51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (KJV)
51) Amen. Amen. I lay down definite words and say to you,
if perhaps someone
keeps watch - guards vigilantly - obeys and preserves
My own intelligent word,
certainly not may not / in no way
will he gaze at and carefully observe - will he behold with
the eyes death into the Age - - into Forever.'

52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. (KJV)
52) Therefore - Accordingly, the Judeans said to Him,
'Now - At this present time we have perceived
that you have - hold - possess and continue to possess
a demon.
Abraham and the prophets died off.
And You lay down definite words and say,
'If (perhaps) someone
keeps watch - guards vigilantly - obeys and preserves
the intelligent word of Me,
certainly not may not / in no way
will he taste [will he even temporarily experience]
of death into the Age - - into Forever.

53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? (KJV)
53) Perhaps not You, You are greater and older than Abraham,
the father of us, someone who died off?
And [greater and older than] the Prophets (who) died off?
Whom do you make - bring about - cause Yourself (to be)?'

54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: (KJV)
54) Jesus judgingly answered,
'If (perhaps or hypothetically) I glorify - honor and exalt
Myself, the thoughtful recognition and glory of Me
is not even one (thing) - is nothing.
It is the Father of Me glorifying - honoring and exalting Me,
whom you lay down definite words and say that
is GOD of you.

55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. (KJV)
55) And you have certainly not known and perceived Him.
I then, know - experience and understand Him,
and if (possibly or hypothetically) I say that
I certainly do not know - experience and understand Him,
I shall be wholly - in every sense like you, a liar.
But I know - experience and understand Him,
and the intelligent word of Him
I keep watch over - vigilantly guard - obey and preserve.

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. (KJV)
56) Abraham, the father of you, leaped and skipped in ecstatic joy
in order that he might - in order that he should
know - experience and understand the Day of Mine.
[Note: Here, Jesus references the Cross and His Day in which
He atones for the sins of all mankind as His Day, or
in His words, "the Day of Mine."]
And he knew - experienced and understood,
and rejoiced with gladness.

[as if now the Gospel of John is telling us that the Judeans who were
previously debating Jesus - Yeshua from perhaps a short distance,
such as 30 feet away, now with hostility are approaching and
pressing through the crowd surrounding Jesus - Yeshua
to be nearer to Him, and say at almost arm's reach to]
Him,
'50 years certainly not yet
you have - hold - possess and continue to have - hold -possess,
and Abraham you have seen with your own eyes?'

'Amen. Amen. I lay down definite words and say to you,
Before Abraham came into being, I AM!!!'

stones,

Then Jesus - Yeshua was hidden - concealed
[Jesus was hidden and concealed
as a result of the Judeans (who lifted up stones)
being smitten with the same blindness as the
Sodomites were smitten with by Heaven's Messengers

and went and proceeded forth out of the Temple,
going through (the) middle of them,
and in this manner - thus
in close proximity and very near (to them),
