1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and 

took Titus with me also.   (KJV)                                    

1)   Upon thereafter, through 14 years, 

      again I came up and ascended into Jerusalem

      in the midst of - with        Barnabas,

      taking and seizing up Titus together along, also.

2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.    (KJV)          

2)   Then I came up and ascended according to 

       a revealing and uncovering with interpretation of that which 

       is seen and shown;

       and I   set up - put up - laid up - placed up   before them

       the Evangelism - the Gospel - the Good News

       which I   announce publicly - herald - proclaim

       in the ethnic nations.

       Then, individually alone and privately to those considering

       and thinking (over the matter),

       lest, in some way or other, 

       I may not   into hollow uselessness / in vain   have run.

3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:    (KJV)                                                         

3)    But not even Titus, he accompanying together with me,

       being a Greek, was compelled by necessity (or force)

       to be circumcised:

4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:   (KJV)                         

4)    Then through  brought and carried along at the side of -
        Then through (secretly) brought and smuggled in
        
        false and lying brothers who (by stealth) 
        came and entered and entered beside
        to aim down upon - to spy down upon
        the freedom - the independence      of us
        which we have in Christ Jesus,
        in order that us  they desire to subjugate and enslave:

5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.    (KJV)

5)    To whom certainly not even  up alongside an hour   have we
        given place - yielded - submitted to in orderly subjection to,
        in order that    the true reality - the truth    of the
        Evangelism - Good News - Gospel   might
        permanently  remain and continue up alongside with you.

6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:    (KJV)                            

6)     Then from those 
         subjectively thinking and imagining - seeming (to themselves)
         to be someone
          
                  --   of what kind they were, certainly does not 
                        bear up or along as a burden or concern to me --

         the face of man, GOD certainly  does not   [automatically]
         take, receive, and accept:
                  
                     because to me, 
                     those subjectively thinking and imagining - those seeming 
                     (to themselves)
                 
                    [to be someone (indispensable or of extreme importance]

                    certainly  not even one   laid up communication 
                    up alongside,  but  the opposite.

7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;     (KJV)                 

7)   Beholding and seeing that I have been entrusted (with)
       the Evangelism - the Good News - the Gospel
       of the Uncircumcision  - of "the covered extremity",
       as according to Peter to the Circumcision,
       (AWPR)  
      

8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)    (KJV)

8)    He that was energetically operating and effectively working 
       in Peter into
       an Apostleship of one having been sent forth and dispatched
       to the Circumcision,   
       energetically operated and effectively worked also in me 
       into the ethnic nations - into the Gentiles.

9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.    (KJV)           

9)     And knowing by inquiry  and examination the rejoicing grace,
         that of (His own) good will and accord that was given to me,
         James and Cephas and John, 
         those thinking and supposing to be pillars - columns

        [those of authority by which the existence of an upper part of a 
          Temple Building, in this case, the Church, 
           is held up and sustained, even as the columns themselves rest 
           upon and are supported by a firm and level foundation]

        of their own good will and accord gave their right [hands] 
        of communal fellowship to me and to Barnabas,
        in order that we  (should go) 
        into the ethnic nations  - into the Gentiles,
        then they into the Circumcision:

10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.    (KJV)                       

10)     Only alone to the poor,
           in order that (we) be mindful of and remember;
           which I also was eager and diligent 
           to do - to make - to perform - to cause - to bring about
           this same thing.

11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.    (KJV)           

11)    Then when Peter came forth publicly to appear into Antioch,
         down in his face I stood against (him),
         because he was to be known and inquired against:

12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.    (KJV)                                      

12)    Because before the coming forth (so as to make a public 
          appearance)  of some certain ones from James,
          he ate together with
          and in the midst - amongst    the ethnic nations.
  
          Then when they came forth publicly and appeared,
           he lowered down and shrinked back
           [as if a sail being hauled down]
           and withdrew,
           and separated  (having excommunicated)  himself,
           being  terrified and frightened (so as to want to run away)
           of those of the Circumcision.

13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.    (KJV)            

13)     And also the rest - And also the remaining ones
           of the Jews,
           acting out pretentiously    [as if now actors in a play]
           in dramatic fashion together with him,
           so that even Barnabas was  
           picked up and carried away  from [the Gentiles] 
           together with the pretentiously and dramatically acting out
           (ones) of them.

14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?    (KJV)      

14)    But when I beheld and saw that they certainly not 
          walked straight and uprightly   up alongside with 
          the truth - the true reality (of things as they really are)
          of the Evangelism - the Good News - the Gospel,
          I said to Peter in front of and before all, 
                'If you,  being - living and existing as    a Judean - a Jew,
                 live (and spend your life as) 
                 a Gentile - one of the ethnic nations,
                 and certainly not (as the) Judeans - Jews;
                 why do you compel [by violence, force, or command]
                 the ethnic nations - the Gentiles      to Judaize?

15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,    (KJV)    

15)         We Judeans - We Jews 
               by nature bring forth - by nature generate
          
          [We Jews, following GOD's design and order in the natural world]

              and certainly not   wicked transgressors -  sinners
              out of (the) ethnic nations - out of (the) Gentiles,
              (AWPR)

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.     (KJV)                               

16)       Being acquainted with and knowing that a man
             is certainly not  justified - righteousified - made righteous
             out of - from       work performances of Law,
             except through a trusting faith in Jesus Christ.

             And we into Christ Jesus believed - trusted,
             and certainly not out of work performances of Law.
             Through that (reason) - On account of (this reason)
             (that)  all flesh will certainly not be 
             justified - righteousified - made righteous 
             out of work performances of Law.

17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.    (KJV)        

17)          Then,  if perhaps (in) seeking and striving  to be 
               justified - righteousified - made righteous    in Christ
               we ourselves were also found to be 
               wicked transgressors - sinners,
               nevertheless (is) Christ    a deacon - a ministering servant
               of wicked transgression - of sin?    
               May it not be!

18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.    (KJV)                       

18)         Because if I build - rebuild - construct and erect
               again these things,
               (that) which I  
               unfastened - unbound - loosed / dissolved - destroyed,
               I set in place and cause to stand together - I establish 
               myself    a going beyond transgressor - a offensive transgressor.

19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.    (KJV)                

19)      Because - For through Law I died off to Law,
            in order that to GOD I might live.
            (AWPR)

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.    (KJV)               

20)     I have been crucified together with Christ.
           I live, then, yet certainly not I: 
           then, in me lives Christ.  

           At the present time - Now   then, 
           I live in flesh.  
           In faith, I live to the Son of GOD,
           He loving me  of His own good will and accord  giving
           Himself   over to the side of 
           (sacrificially) over or  across - (sacrificially) in behalf of
            me.

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.    (KJV)    

21)    I certainly do not displace - make void - set aside
          the rejoicing grace of GOD, 
          because - for         if the 
          justification - righteousness  is through Law,
          then Christ died off as a free gift without cause 
          [to give it].'
