1) And Jesus was walking about after these things in Galilee,
because He certainly not intended - willed - desired
to walk about in Judea,
because the Judeans were seeking and striving to find Him
to go forth and slay - kill (Him).

in order that also the disciples - pupils - learners of you
will attentively gaze upon and carefully observe the works
which you do - make - cause - produce - bring about - perform.

4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he
himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to
the world. (KJV)

"in secret" - "in secret and concealed hiding / private"
in anything he
does - works- makes - causes - brings about - performs.
If these things you do,

your time is alway ready. (KJV)

testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. (KJV)

[My comment: This verse can, after a sense, be taken as an Illuminati verse, in which there is a dual sense of application...the world and the caretakers, and the two are unique and distinct from one another. The world is all humanity in one sense, as we are all called to be caretakers as commanded of Adam the first man. If so, and it so, then we are all co-equal in having responsibility to ourselves to be more eco-friendly WITHOUT the oppression of rules and excessive burdens that others are attempting to do with their environmental ruse for control freaks of the population in the Agenda 21 "I'm now a god in your life" garbage, as we see growing in popularity of application to ensconsce base-lines for tyrannies in and over the lives of those living here in the United States. Rebellion to idolatry and those who seek to be idols and tyrants in control of our lives rather than equals, rebellion to such as these can indeed be an expression of obedience to GOD. In the other sense, as we look at the verse in the Greek and apply it for us in our time, we can also say that the elites are identified both then (in those ancient times) and now.
The elites, regardless of what age or Empire or country or town they every operate in, are both of limited power and influence, no matter how temporarily omni-potent they may terrorize, it can only last for a finite duration. Therefore, we must always remember in our push-back against corruption, even if we lose here and there, or grow weary and take a short rest, that the elites are themselves forced to operate in positions of temporary empowerments that always must come to an end. But especially important, is that through this verse, we be made aware by Christ Jesus Himself speaking the words of GOD the Father, that the elites are NOT our friends NOR are they by nature in any way habitually benevolent human beings. Jesus, in this verse, identifies the elites as being maliciously evil caretakers in their works and work performances upon both humanity and the planet, and cautions us to be especially careful of their works and work performances. Again, their power is finite and persecutions will come and eventually go, but they will always specifically and actively hate Christ Jesus, unintentionally thereby because they love evil (John 3:19-21), proving Jesus' identity as the One and Only Son of GOD and True Faith above all other belief systems and religions, showing them to be false and His the only one whereby humanity MUST individually one by one be saved by faith and trust into, or perish apart from. No other individual is universally hated by the world or the world system through mere conviction as just the mere mention of the name of Christ Jesus is, and that in itself points us to an internal evidence from our own souls that this is the Holy One of GOD the Father, the One whose mere name convicts us of our sins and wrongs against GOD the Father, the One sending and dispatching Him forth out, and the One whom the elites so fear and persecute regarding His Name. - Brianroy]

The text and context of this verse with the preceding two verses and the verses yet to come (vv. 19-20, et al.) shows us that a better translation takes into account both word picture definitions as the intent of what is meant to be conveted in John 7:13 above, as the Jewish leaders were both loved and hated, especially as they loved their own and hated the northern tribes of Israel, especially those living and prospering in the rich green farms and orchard lands of Galilee while they lived in the hot, dry, dusty and rain-parched south. -- Brianroy]

It is the same way in our day, when truly devout Christian devoted to the Bible free thinkers are able to read the Scriptures and take them in their plain sense intent, and make many now over-rated seminaries awe-struck that the common unindoctrinated man or woman can have a grasp just as great or better than their best students and educators themselves. -- Brianroy]
