My Comments in Green.38) And the intelligent word of Him,
you certainly do not have and continue to have
remaining and dwelling - abiding in you,
because whom that One sent forth out,
this One you certainly do not
believe - trust - have faith into.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (KJV)
39) You investigate - You search the Scriptures;
because you consider - imagine -think
in them you have and continue to possess
perpetual everlasting life:
[The Judeans were making the mistake that merely be possessors
of the Holy Scriptures, this external feature guaranteed them
eternal life as a people.
Jesus - Yeshua was telling them that this is an egregious
mistake on their part. It is a traditional error that many religious
Jews, which name has usurped all the tribes and religious beliefs
of the sons of Israel as though subject to one certain sect, which sect
makes errors down to this day, and far too many go into eternal
damnation because of their insistance that by merely being Jewish
and possessors of the Old Testament exempts them from the
GOD's Judgement in the resurrection, even those certain ones who
died as atheists, murderers, and the very worst of humanity,
that they too would be saved simply because they were physically
Jewish? No. Certainly not. As much as anyone else, they need to
first and foremost trust into He whom the Scripture designates.
Unfortunately, the rabbis and sages brainwash and steer away,
almost always trying to carnalize the Scriptures into this physical
world until they lead astray and dismiss the Spiritual and/or true
intent of far too many passages as physical, even though GOD
is Spirit, and it is the spiritual such as a believing - trusting faith
which pleases Him, even as Abraham believed GOD
and it was counted to him for righteousness (Genesis 15:6).

43) I have come forth (so as to make a public appearance)
in the Name of the Father of Me ,
and you certainly do not
receive - accept - (hospitably [as you would a friend]) take hold of
Me.

a public appearance) in his own name, that one there you will
accept - receive - take hold of (hospitably) [as you would a friend].

glory - thoughtful recognition
near to one another?
And the glory - the thoughtful recognition (duly rendered)
near to the Only - Alone GOD
you certainly do not seek and strive to find?
(AWPR)
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. (KJV)
45) Do not perhaps consider - imagine - think
that I will openly accuse and condemn you
up alongside with the Father.
There is Moses, he accusing and condemning you,
into whom you have hoped and expected
[a good affirmation] from.

46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. (KJV)

you would have been trusting into - believing

that one there inscribed - wrote.
