In the New Testament, we simply see revealed what was in the Old Testament just somewhat concealed. As we move from Torah (the first 5 books of the Bible) to the Writings and to the Prophets (in their Jewish divisions) in the Tanakh (the Old Testament), we see a consistent and chronic pattern of unfolding insights, revelations, and happenings consistently supporting the New Testament's centralization on the King Messiah Yeshua, who is known to we of the nations as Jesus the Christ / Jesus Christ ; and that insight and support of the New Testament is through many legal and prophetical precedents there in the Old Testament. Prophecies alone have been numerated as 456 to Jesus and His ministry, but effectually, it is yet more than that. I suspect it may be even higher than 613, but I would have to make a specialized project to place a definitive number on it, and then find the corresponding matches to Gematria.
But in the end, as Revelation 19:10c
"...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
informs to this effect, that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit / true-intent of Bible prophecy. Our focus is ever on Him, and the revelation of Him in our hearts, minds, and lives -- unto eternity.
In Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
in the original Hebrew text,
we have the three letters of bara, followed by Shin-Yod-Tav (a garment; something that is put or set, and/or thorn bushes), followed by three letters "bara" again. This changes to an understating of “bara” – Creating, “Sheith” a garment” or we could even say a curtain or tent. It is then followed by the explanation for this purpose, GOD was creating the Heavens and the Earth.
Compare these Scriptures of Isaiah 40:18, 21-22; Job 22:12-14; Job 26:7-11 with Genesis 1:1.
Isaiah 40:18, 21-22 King James Version (KJV)
18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Job 22:12-14 (KJV)
12 Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
13 And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?
14 Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.
Job 26:7-11 (KJV)
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
In Psalm 68:4, GOD, named as "YH", rides the Heavens, and then in verse 8, drops the Heavens over Sinai when he came down to Mount Sinai, bending time and space and for that purpose temporarily altering the Universe as it presently stands.
Psalm 68:4,8 (KJV)
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YaH, and
rejoice before him.
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
Rashi concurs with this in his commentary on Exodus 19:20's "Vayeired YHVeH al Har Sinai", saying Heaven was made like a bedspread over Sinai, because GOD still talked from Heaven

(Exodus 19:20 (KJV)
20 And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
Exodus 20:19
19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. )
WHILE
BEING PRESENT AT SINAI!
In other words, the pattern at Genesis 1:1 is that of the Holy of Holies. Heaven as the ark of the Covenant, and the Earth as Eben Shethiyah (the rock upon which the ark sits), and the curtains of darkness as the bounds of an enclosed universe within a greater universe of light.
In Gematria, a proper insight into reading Eben Shethiyah (the rock upon which the ark sits) is:
Eben (spelled Alef, Beth, Nun) stands alone and is pronounced in Gematria as Alef -BeN (GOD's Son: Jesus). Alef being an abbreviative form of El and Elohim, hence, GOD (in the Hebrew).
This is followed by Shethiyah as Sheth: a Garment or 6th
of, and YaH: YHVeH.
By itself, like Jeremiah 2:13 and 17:13,
Jeremiah 2:13 (KJV)
13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
Jeremiah 17:13
13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.
Shethiyah (through a Gematria application of letter and meaning applications) is seen as the source of living drinking waters. And we
know that this rock of waters known by Moses and Israel, is clearly designated
by Paul as a prophetical type of Jesus Christ, because Sheth can also mean that which is "put and substituted" as Christ our substitute and redeeming sacrifice, the Lamb of GOD, was for us.
So with Genesis 1:1, from the very Beginning (in the Bible), we read bara sheith, and see the shethiy (the warp weave of a garment) through the whole Bible as revealed only because of it being revealed in Jesus (Revelation 19:10c).
Isaiah 26:1 (KJV)
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
Isaiah 26:1's use of "sets" designates this same thought, that Yeshua is set as a garment as our walls and ramparts. He it is who is the prophetical Ath/Oth, that is the special - miraculous - prophetical coming sign of GOD present in Genesis 1:1, for which the universe and all Creation was made for.
At the Creation, in John 1:3 , of YHVeH Messiah, we are informed twice that “all things through Him εγενετο” -- all things came into being at a point in time when the “Beginning” was in a new state, and still unfolding into existence (i.e., ginomai being twice in the aorist).
The New Testament Koine Greek “Egeneto” is followed immediately by an emphasis on ginomai’s perfect tense: “gegonen”. This tells us the continuing existence of the new state that has come into existence, as being upheld by the word of His power (as it were).
The entire Bible, from Genesis 1:1 to its end, is all about Yeshua (whom we Gentiles call Jesus) and our state of relationship to Him in His pre-incarnate and then incarnate form.
As GOD, Jesus placed His NAME of YH upon the city called Jerusalem, pronounced as YaH Ruah Shalom (YH's Shout or Proclamation of Peace) and made it so much what He is about, He will even give those who believe a New YaH Ruah Shalom out of Heaven as one of the eternal fulfillments of His Gospel or Good News and Proclamations of Peace.
In the Bible, we see that Jesus means "he shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). In essence, this is the same as "salvation", "redeemer", "savior".
Example:
(#1)
"I have waited for thy SALVATION, O LORD" in Genesis 49:18,
is also translated asלִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֖ קִוִּ֥יתִי יְהוָֽה׃
"For Thy Yeshua have I waited, O YHVeH", and this alternately can be translated therefore as "I have waited for thy Jesus, O LORD".
This activity of English translation has hidden the full effect of this reality of Biblical studies. The Hebrew utility of equating "salvation" to a person with the name and definition of Jesus/Yeshua is not a rare biblical event.
The Pre-incarnate Yeshua is the GOD whom the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew, but not by that name. Moses the Law-giver identified YHVeH as Yeshua in Exodus.
(#2)
Exodus 14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the Yeshua of YHVeH, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
19 And ...removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
(#3)
Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
In context of these two chapters of Exodus 14-15, this same GOD, Yeshua, is He who "roars from Heaven" to save Israel at the Reed / Red Sea, and is He who saves and Raptures (snatches to safety) in Psalm 50:1-6, Psalm 29:3; Joel 2:11, 3:15-16.
He is scorned and lightly esteemed by those who claim themselves as the best and most upright of Jews or of Israel (Genesis Rabbah 77:1, Bamidbar/ Numbers 23:10, Yoma 73b) in the end times:
(#4)
Deuteronomy 32:15
Deuteronomy 32:15
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he abandoned GOD which made him, and scorned lightly the Rock of his Yeshua.
In the Jewish Commentary of Lamentations Rabbah (while commenting on Jeremiah 23:1-8), at 1:51 we read:
'What is the NAME of the King Messiah?'
Rabbi Abba ben Kahana said:
His Name is "Adonai", as it is stated
- "And this is the NAME whereby He shall be called:
Adonai is our Righteousness." [verse 6].
In this, the Jewish reading aloud of Jeremiah 23:6 will be YHVeH "read" as Adonai. In the Bible, the name YHVeH is translated from that into a full capitalization as LORD. Clearly YHVeH, even if pronounced as Adonai, is the NAME of King Messiah. Therefore YHVeH is the NAME of King Messiah according to Rabbi Abba ben Kahana in
Lamentations Rabbah 1:51.
So when in Scripture YHVeH speaks unto the actual Adonai in Psalm 110:1, it is in no way a leap for the Scriptural knowledgeable Messianic informed Jew to understand that this implies that YHVeH speaking unto YHVeH, and GOD (the Father) unto King Messiah (who is also YHVeH). In fact, most Talmudic (as well as the non-religious Agnostic and Atheistic minded) Jews are vastly ignorant of their own Scriptures outside the first five books of the Bible...in the very place that Messhiach is revealed to so many of those who have believed into Yeshua the Messhiach, whom we Gentiles call Jesus the Messiah or as Jesus Christ.
In Psalm 65:5-7, the confidence is placed in GOD the Father of King Messiah (who here is called "Salvation"), while King Messiah -- who is in the bosom of GOD the Father (Psalm 74:11-12; John 1:18) -- has the power to make still the storm and seas (cf. Psalm 107:28-30; and Jesus fulfilling this, performs that which only YHVeH King Messiah can do, in Matthew 8:23-27).
Hence, faith in GOD the Father through King Messiah as the only way of deliverance is actually an Old Testament concept fulfilled which is concealed and present, but readily and openly revealed in the New Testament.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy Yeshua.

These are 30 verses for your study and consideration. May those who wish to find Yeshua / Jesus, or to at least know if He is indeed the King Messiah, at least know they can indeed find Him in the Tanakh / the Old Testament affirmed again and again and again so numerously, it is so truly awesome that words virtually fail me to describe all the opportunities - ways - occasions they can see Him therein.
"[F]or the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" Revelation 19:10c
or inverted..."the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus / Yeshua". Amen.
