Before they could get even 15 minutes into the international internet broadcast, the "Americans for Prosperity" Copenhagen location was stormed by dozens of wild eyed (and other) screaming environmental zealots at or about the mushy minded college age (and mostly females) of about 20-22 years of age. The most prominent bed sheet sign that was held up was painted “Clean Energy”. Their goal in storming the hotel conference room at Copenhagen was to shout down any free speech opposition to the CO2 grab for power via the Climate Hysteria / Hoax.
For a few minutes, Lord Christopher Monckton was prevented from speaking. When Monckton was able to speak, after that Security and others cleared the room, he informed those of us watching the broadcast that:
Freedom is under threat as never before.
Those at Copenhagen have dropped the word “government” from the treaty, but have left intact 700 inter-locking bureaucracies who will still have the power to tax nations 2% of their GDP, and fine them if they are out of compliance.
Obama’s adviser regarding Copenhagen has called the US Constitution as just a scrap of paper, and told Obama to sign the Treaty at Copenhagen. The legality will be that Obama will sign it, it will be called an “executive agreement” and then need a majority vote of more than 50% in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, and will thence become law. The good news is that a subsequent US Presidential Administration has the right to repeal that executive agreement, because it does not rise to the legal binding that a Treaty would.
